I was born and raised in a small town in Kentucky and grew up caring for a variety of animals on my grandparent's farm. From helping my grandfather feed calves to assisting neighbors in quail care, I developed a responsibility and attachment to all animals. Dogs and cats were always a constant in my life until I moved to Newtown, Connecticut in August of 2018; I left my long haired dachshund, Stewie, behind to
